Beautician spraying tan on woman in salon

We offer many spray tan types to accommodate all your needs and ways to treat yourself to a beautiful, natural spray tan.

One kind of spray tan we get asked about the most is the Bridal Spray Tan.

Your wedding is one of the biggest days of your life, so you want to look the best you have ever looked and feel the BEST you have ever felt, and that’s where The Glo Show comes in.

How it works, and how to best prepare your skin for your Bridal Spray Tan:

The trial Bridal spray tan appointment

For some Brides, this spray tan will be the first they’ve ever had. Of course, we have our long-time Glo-ers as well who NEED to bring that perfect Bronzed Glo into their special day too. Whichever category you are in, we will need to do a trial Bridal spray tan appointment first.

But what does this mean?

To give you confidence that you have made the right choice in tone and colour we offer a trial spray tan. This is an especially important step for our spray tan first-timers, but everyone needs a trial, it’s the big day right?!

Schedule this appointment in a few weeks before the big day, ideally, if it coincides with your dress fitting too! This will give you the confidence leading up to your nuptials that you’ve made the right choice of formula and tone, especially if you don’t spray tan regularly. We will help you book the dates that will give you the perfect results for your wedding day, so don’t worry we’ll do all the scheduling for you.

When Should I Get My Wedding Spray Tan?

After you’ve done your trial run and you’re happy with the results, you’ll need to book your final appointment. We recommend getting your spray tan 1-2 days before the big day. It’s best to avoid the eve of your wedding as the tan will continue to develop for 24-48 hours, so will need some time for the full result to appear.

How Should I Prepare for My Spray Tan?

Your spray tan will always have the best results when applied to even-textured, clean skin, so you’ll need to ensure you exfoliate and shave/wax well before your appointment.

A great tip for baby-soft skin is to use an Exfoliating Mitt, to gently, but effectively scrub over your whole body, especially the driest areas like your elbows, knees, and ankles.

*Get in touch if you would like to purchase a Nouvatan exfoliating mitt from us, you won’t believe how soft your skin can be!

For the best tan, we would recommend exfoliating, shaving, waxing, and moisturising at least 24-48 hours before your appointment, and not immediately beforehand, your skin needs to be clean and dry before we apply your solution so we don’t wanna see you scrubbing away and applying moisturiser all over your body 20 minutes before we get to you!

*Insider tip* Pay extra attention when cleaning and exfoliating your skin in preparation for your spray tan, to your underarm area. Deodorant residue can impact the performance of your tan too.

As well as moisturisers, it’s best not to apply any deodorant, perfume, or makeup before your appointment as this will affect the even application of your tan, and the overall end result.

Prepare for your bridal spray tan trial and official Bridal appointment by having baggy clothes and flip flops/sliders to change into afterward. I can’t count the number of times I have seen people about to slip into their yoga leggings and trainers straight after their spray tan! Nope, we need to allow our skin to dry properly and breathe after a spray tan.

Will fake tan get all over my lovely wedding dress?!

We offer a very special solution for our brides, a clear formula that leaves no stains. Is it Magic? Maybe… maybe not, but taking the best care of your skin after your spray tan and leading up to your wedding day is important to ensure that the clear formula does exactly what it’s supposed to do and keep your dress white.

When it comes down to the most gorgeous perfect tan, aftercare is just as important as the tan itself, but don’t worry it is all very straightforward, we will run you through all of our famous aftercare tips and tricks at your appointment.

Should I Tan My Face?

You will definitely want your face to match your body on your wedding day! So for that reason, our beautiful natural spray tan solution is full of skin-loving ingredients, which are paraben, oil & alcohol-free and can be applied to the face.

Although some people have extremely sensitive skin and may wish to opt out of spray tanning their face, in which case you can ask to skip the face and let your make-up artist match foundation to your tan. We can always try this with you and do a skin test at your trial appointment with us.

What does a Bridal spray tan cost?

The cost firstly depends on where you want me to come to do your spray tan, and the next factors are things like exactly what service and formula you need and if you are perhaps getting your Bridal spray tan as part of our Bride-Squad package with your Bridal party, or just on your own.

Will My Glo Last Until My Honeymoon?

A good spray tan applied professionally, using a high-quality tanning solution (as we always do at The Glo Show 😍) should last over a week, but if you are going away for longer or if you plan on going away much later after your wedding day, then come and see me again for a top up OR pick up some of our beautiful Nouvatan Tan Extender, or Self Tanning Mousse at your appointment.

After all what’s a honeymoon without that “Just Married” GLO?! 💖
